Cottonseed oil cake futures rise on strong demand
New Delhi, Mar 30 () Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday gained 3.6 per cent to Rs 2,100 per quintal in futures trade due to creation of fresh positions by traders amid upbeat trend at the spot market.On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 73, or 3.6 per cent, to Rs 2,100 per quintal in 43,670 lots.Cottonseed oil cake contracts for May gained Rs 70, or 3.43 per cent, to Rs 2,108 per quintal in 30,970 lots.Marketmen said raising of positions by participants amid rising demand from cattle feed makers mainly influenced prices here.
