Cottonseed oil futures slide on soft demand

New Delhi, Mar 31 () Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 33 to Rs 2,066 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets tracking a weak trend at spot market.Analysts said sell-off by participants at existing levels amid subdued trend in market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower by Rs 33, or 1.57 per cent, to Rs 2,066 per quintal with an open interest of 42,460 lots.Cottonseed oil cake for May delivery fell by Rs 23, or 1.09 per cent, to Rs 2,085 per quintal in 33,440 lots.
