Guar gum futures up on spot demand
New Delhi, Feb 5 () Guar gum prices on Wednesday gained Rs 77 to Rs 6,961 per five quintal in futures trade as investors increased their holdings on spot demand.

Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to rise in guar gum prices.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum delivery for February contracts gained 1.12 per cent, or Rs 77, to Rs 6,961 per five quintal with an open interest of 14,610 lots.

Likewise, the delivery of March contract surged by Rs 79, or 1.13 per cent, to Rs 7,042 per five quintal as open interest stood at 49,020 lots. VHP SHWSHW
