On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 7.9, or 0.84 per cent, to Rs 933.20 per kg with a business turnover of 1,059 lots.
Similarly, nickel contracts for March delivery dropped by Rs 8.30, or 0.88 per cent, to Rs 931.40 per kg in 265 lots.
