Refined soya oil futures dip on subdued demand

New Delhi, Mar 12 () Refined soya oil prices on Thursday fell 1.48 per cent to Rs 757 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March declined by Rs 11.4, or 1.48 per cent, to Rs 757 per 10 kg in 19,520 lots.

The refined soya oil contracts for April dropped by Rs 16.6, or 2.24 per cent, to Rs 725.8 per 10 kg in 33,520 lots.

Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices. VHP RUJRUJ
