With the Android POS device, Paytm wants to aid small and medium enterprises automation. It also comes with features like ‘restaurant management’ which can accept orders and also alert the kitchen directly. Paytm said that IRCTC is already using the POS device in trains to bill food items.

The launch of the POS device comes after Paytm launched an all-in-one QR code for merchants. Through this feature, merchants will be able to accept unlimited payments from Paytm Wallet, Rupay Cards and all UPI-based payment apps directly into their bank account without having to pay a processing fee.
