Snapdeal founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal have invested in a female hygiene products startup – Sanfe.

The startup raised a pre-series A funding of ₹8 crore from Titan Capital – the VC fund founded by the Snapdeal founders, SucSEED Venture Partners and other investors.

Sanfe, founded by IIT Delhi graduates, Archit Aggarwal and Harry Sehrawat, plans to use the new funds for category disruption, strengthening of the existing team, new product development and brand building.

Currently, Sanfe has products like stand and pee devices, wipes, organic sanitary pads, pain relief roll on, menstrual cups among others. Selling directly and through platforms like Flipkart and Amazon, the startup is also present in the US, Nepal and Kenya.

Interestingly, this is the second funding in a female wellness startup within three months for the Snapdeal founders. In December, Titan Capital had invested an undisclosed amount in female wellness startup Azah.

Through the fund, Bahl and Bansal invest in seed stage startups that hope to bring a ‘positive impact’ to the world. They have invested in startups like Ola, Bira, Razorpay, Beardo and several others.
