Ranveer Singh

Sporting the most vividly coloured ensembles, actor Ranveer Singh is known to have his fashion game on point. He invested in D2C cosmetic brand Sugar Cosmetics, participating in its funding round led by L Catterton's Asia fund last year.

Now a global icon, Priyanka Chopra invested in the women-first dating app Bumble in 2018. She also has a stake in Holberton School which teaches soft skills, alongside an investment in Apartment List, a US-based real estate company.

Wellness guru and actor Shilpa Shetty has been an investor since 2018 in the IPO-bound beauty brand Mamaearth. In December 2022, she infused another ₹6.7 crore, as participated in the funding round of the company.

The most prolific Hindi female actor, Alia Bhatt has three primary startup investments — fashion brand Style Cracker, socially conscious incense stick company Phool and omnichannel beauty brand Nykaa. She also owns sustainable kidswear brand Ed-A-Mamma, which also sells maternity wear now.

Actor Pankaj Tripathi has invested an undisclosed amount in AI-based agritech startup Krishi Network. The startup links an estimated 30 lakh farmers across India. Tripathi is also the brand ambassador of the company.
