Prices of 4G data plans might have increased due to the recent tariff hikes from Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea, but they are still amongst the most affordable in India when compared to the rest of the world.

With many people using smartphones and 4G mobile data to stream their favourite TV shows and movies, or simply connect to their work networks, a mobile plan with abundant 4G data is important.

Apart from this, Jio and Vodafone Idea both offer 3GB data per day plans with additional benefits like Disney+ Hotstar subscription, but those plans cost a little more than the regular plans.

Additionally, only Jio offers an annual plan with 3GB data per day benefit. Airtel, on the other hand, offers the least validity at just 56 days, while Vodafone Idea offers 70 days validity.

Unsurprisingly, Jio’s annual plan offers the most value for money, while Airtel’s 28 days plan is the most expensive. It is worth pointing out that Airtel also offers Disney+ Hotstar subscription with this plan, which is why it’s considerably more expensive.
