As Jio offered free data and calling services for almost 6 months, a lot of people started using Jio as their primary SIM. Now, a lot of people have two SIMs and as telcos have introduced the monthly validity system, you need to recharge every month to even receive calls if you are not on a plan.

The ₹129 plan from Jio offers 2GB data, unlimited Jio to Jio calls, 1000 minutes of non-Jio calls and 300 SMS with 28 days validity.
Best affordable monthly validity plan from Airtel
Airtel offers a ₹45 plan for users who only want to increase their validity. This plan does not offer any talktime or data and if users want to place a call, they will have to recharge separately.
Airtel also has a ₹49 plan that offers ₹38.52 talktime, 100 MB data and 28 days validity. This plan offers better benefits when compared to the ₹45 plan.

Vodafone Idea has a ₹49 plan that offers 28 days validity, ₹38 talktime and 100 MB data. With this plan, the users can also place a few calls every month.
