Nvidia becomes the world’s most valuable company
Jensen Huang-led chipmaker Nvidia has become the most valuable company in the world with a market cap of $3.335 trillion after a 3.51 percent surge in share price.

Microsoft drops down to the second position
Satya Nadella-led Microsoft is now in the second position with a market cap of $3.317 trillion. The company, founded nearly 50 years ago has a diverse portfolio which includes both hardware and software products.

Apple, which recently lost its position to Nvidia continues to occupy the third spot. The company is a close third with a market cap of $3.285 trillion, with a 1.1 percent decline today.
