“The programme will run simultaneously across countries, where the first step will be for candidates to apply to become ‘CEO for One Month’ in India, before making it to a shortlist of 10 top performers. Of the final ten candidates, one of them will be selected to become a global ‘CEO for One Month,’” he said.

Valsecchi said that the company has received nearly 22,000 applications so far and the registrations will close on March 19, 2020. Last year, Adecco received 26,000 applications from India.

The initiative, which was first implemented in India in 2016, will allow the selected candidate to run and manage a multinational that has over 35 offices in India. This includes day to day operations, strategic decisions and working with the leadership team.

“The finalists will go through a rigorous selection process and boot camp to select the young leader who will spend a full-month alongside me and gaining valuable experience leading the company,” he said.
