ONGC is hiring over 3,600 apprentices with a maximum stipend of ₹9,000 per month

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), which is India’s flagship energy major and a ‘Maharatna’ central public sector enterprise, is inviting applications to fill up over 3,600 apprentices positions.

The online application window is already open and the last day to apply for the opportunity is May 15.

The duration of the training would be 12 months.

These are the vacancies in the organisation —


Eligibility criteria for all the roles —

1. The age criteria for the roles is minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years, as on May 15, 2022.
   
2. Accounts Executive — Bachelor’s degree (graduation) in commerce (B.Com) from a government recognised institute/university.
   
3. Office Assistant — Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of business administration (B.B.A) from recognised institute/university.
   
4. Secretarial Assistant — Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in trade stenography (English)/secretarial practice.
   
5. Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) — ITI in COPA trade
   
6. Draughtsman (Civil) — ITI in draughtsman (Civil) trade.
   
7. Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Fitter/Instrument Mechanic — ITI in electrician trade/electronics mechanic/fitter/instrument mechanic.
   
8. Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance (ICTSM) — ITI in ICTSM.
   
9. Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) — ITI in the lab. asst (Chemical Plant) trade or bachelor’s of science with PCM or PCB.
   
10. Machinist/Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)/Mechanic Diesel — ITI in machinist trade/mechanic motor vehicle trade/mechanic diesel trade.
    
11. Medical Laboratory Technician (Cardiology and Physiology) — ITI in medical laboratory technician (Cardiology and Physiology).
    
12. Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology) — ITI in medical laboratory technician (Pathology).
