Islington square will include shops, restaurants, housing, and accommodation

Islington Square is a huge new development being built in North London, taking inspiration from the West End's Covent Garden. It is intended as a destination for people to eat, shop, and sleep in the capital.

It will also contain hotel-style "serviced apartments."

The project will be undertaken by Sager Group, a London-based property developer, and private investment firm Cain Hoy and include 108 apartments, taking up more than 58,000 square feet in a century-old former Royal Mail building.

According to Giris Rabinovitch, the CEO of Sager Group, "Islington Square is one of the most prestigious regeneration projects in London, and will provide an exciting new Covent Garden style destination for the capital. The serviced apartments are perfectly located for business visitors and tourists alike."

Here are some images of what the new development will look like once it's finished.
