Cristiano Ronaldo has demolished yet another record.

The Real Madrid forward's jaw-dropping goal in Wednesday's win over Borussia Dortmund means he has now scored in every single Champions League group game this season.

And boy, was it a goal to remember.

Mateo Kovačić played a short pass to Ronaldo on the edge of the box in the 12th minute. The 32-year-old took two touches to control the ball and then performed an exquisite lofted finish over the reach of Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki.

"I scored and I helped the team to win with a beautiful goal," Ronaldo said after the game, according to Spanish publication MARCA. "The record is also important, I'm really pleased."

He added: "It's a competition that I really like to play in. Obviously, I also like to score in it."

Ronaldo's strike was Real's second of the night, after Borja Mayoral's opener in the eighth minute.

Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored in the 43rd minute and again in the 48th, to bring the match back to 2-2, but Lucas Vázquez grabbed a dramatic winner for Real nine minutes before the end of play.

Ronaldo has won three Champions League titles with Real Madrid and said the club's objective is to win the competition once again this season.

"Hopefully we can win the Champions League again this season. Our aim is to win it."
