Bitcoin’s nose dive seems to have been staved off by Microstrategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin

The company bought up another 5,050 Bitcoin for $242.9 million at $48,099 apiece

However, as compared to last week, it is down by more than 15 percent

The company later denied the development, calling the press release ‘fake’

It has lost nearly 20 percent of its value in the past one week

The only two cryptocurrencies that seemed to have bucked the trend are Solana and Polkadot

Solana is in the green, up by over 6 percent in the last 24 hours at a price of USD 167.54

As compared to last week, Solana’s value is down by 2.65 percent

But the dip relatively minimal compared to its peers

After Polkadot’s bull run yesterday, it’s price is now stabilised at USD 35.35
