Here are the nuclear weapons held by each country according to a report by The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

Russia

Russia, the largest holder of nuclear missiles, has 5,977 warheads, down from 6,255 warheads in 2021.

United States

The nuclear weapons inventory of the United States has declined from 5,550 warheads in 2021 to 5,428 warheads in 2022.

China

China currently holds 350 nuclear warheads and is reportedly constructing 300 new silos.

France currently has 290 warheads and there has been no change since last year.

United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is reported to have an inventory of 225 warheads.

Pakistan

Pakistan is reported to have an inventory of 165 warheads in 2022.

India has reportedly increased its nuclear inventory from 156 warheads in 2021 to 160 warheads in 2022.

While Israel does not acknowledge it has nuclear warheads, it is reported to have 90 warheads in 2022.
