They are now delivering goods in registered private cars. Be it hatchback or a sedan, all they need is a spacious boot.
“E-commerce firms are demanding such cars from us (transporters) and stuffing goods to their maximum limit and sending them to desired location,” said one of the transporters, on the condition of anonymity.
Without revealing the name of the company, he said: “We are ready to dispatch their goods in our cars as long as they (e-Commerce firms) pay us well.”
