Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) will not declare the class 10th board results today (on June 5), the board officials confirmed. It said that the revised result date will be announced later.

Earlier, the board was expected to announce the results on June 5, according to media reports.

The HPBOSE class 10th examinations were held between February 22 and March 19, 2020. Given the coronavirus lockdown, the evaluation process was delayed. Last year, the state board declared the class 10th results on April 29, 2020.

The state board also released a notification last month stating that the students would be awarded grace marks in language subjects like urdu and sanskrit.

Once declared, the students can check their result on the official website hpbose.org.

Recently, the board said that the pening Geography exam of class 12th will be held on June 8, 2020. The students will have to wear masks and strictly follow social distancing norms during the exam.

While the class 10th board exams were not rescheduled by the Himachal Pradesh board.
