JEE Main applications start – Here’s how you can register

The applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2021) have begun. This year the exam will be conducted in 12 other languages apart from English.

The examination is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) among others.

"The JEE (Main) 2021 will be held in February 2021 followed by next three Sessions in March, April, and May 2021. This is being done to ensure that the JEE (Main)2021 does not interfere with the Board examinations, which may be held at different times across the States/UTs," said the National Testing Agency.

Interested candidates can apply online for JEE (Main) 2021 at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.

Here’s how you can register

Step-1: Apply for online registration using your e-mail address and phone number.

Step-2: Fill in the online application form and note down the system generated application number.

Step-3: Upload scanned images of: The recent photograph should be either in colour or black/white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

(i) candidate’s photograph (file size: 10 kb - 200 kb);
(ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb -30kb);
(iii) duly verified result awaited attestation form (file size: 50kb to 500kb),
(iv) category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) (file size: 50kb to 300KB),

(v) PwD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb) in jpg/jpeg format.

Step-4: Pay fee using SBI/Canara Bank/HDFC Bank/ICICI Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card / Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.
