IGNOU TEE 2020: University extends last date for submitting examination forms, check @ignou.ac.in

Given the rising concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide lockdowns, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for submitting forms to appear for the end-term examination in June 2020.

“Keeping in view the spread of Coronavirus, the epidemic and complete lockdown throughout the country, the last date of accepting the June 2020 term-end examination forms without late fee has been extended up to 30th April 2020,” the announcement said.

The last date of submissions has now been extended till April 30 — which was earlier scheduled on March 31. However, any submissions made after the rescheduled date will incur a late fee of ₹1,000.


The students can submit the forms on the official website.

The exam fee for all the courses is ₹150 per course. Also, the centres will be allotted on a first come first serve basis.

The development came after the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) said that no educational institutions will remain operational till March 31. That includes schools board exams, universities and entrances.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also suspended exams till March 31, in the wake of Coronavirus. Given that, JEE Mains has also been postponed.
