Kerala class 10th result 2020: Pass percentage improves to 98.82% — highest in five years

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan today declared the class 10th board exam results. Of the 4 lakh students that appeared, nearly 98.82% students cleared the exam this year. This is the highest pass percentage recorded in the last five years.

In 2019, the overall pass percentage stood at 97.8% with 4,31,762 students clearing the exam.

The highest pass percentage was recorded in Pathanmthitta district at 99.71%. While Malappuram district has maximum number of students securing A+ grade.

The students can check their scores at the board’s official website keralaresults.nic.in. This year, grades will be announced for class 10th but no scores will be mentioned in the certificates, as per reports.

  • Visit Kerala board's official website at keralaresults.nic.in
  • Click on the tab that says SSLC Result
  • Enter roll number and date of birth to log in
  • Download the result for future reference
Students can also access their result via mobile app — ‘Saphalam.’

The class 10th board exams were scheduled in March. However, the exams were postponed to a later day due to the coronavirus pandemic. The physics, chemistry and mathematics exams were then conducted in May. The Higher Secondary or class 12th results will be declared by July 10, according to the education director. Over 8 lakh students appeared for 12th board exams.
