Meet the toppers of Assam HSLC class 10th board exam 2020

  • The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) declared the class 10th results today.
  • Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita of Padum Pukhuri High School in Darrang, who scored 595 marks, topped the examination.
  • Alankrita Gautam Baruah of Salt Brook School, Dibrugarh successfully secured the second position with 594 marks.
The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) declared the class 10th results today (June 6) at around 9 am. The overall pass percentage for this year stood at 64.80, 4.5% up from last year.

Overall, boys outperformed girls again this year. The number of boys that passed the examination stood at 66.93% while the pass percentage among girls stood at 62.91%.

Among the toppers is Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita of Padum Pukhuri High School in Darrang, who scored 595 marks. Alankrita Gautam Baruah of Salt Brook School, Dibrugarh successfully secured the second position with 594 marks.

Jyotisman Deva Sarma Sankardev Sishu Bidya Niketan, Barbhag, Debisma Priya Borah of Gyanjyoti Academy in Nalbari and Chaki G. Bulton of St. Mary’s School, Guwahati bagged the third position, scoring 591 marks.

Nearly 3.5 lakh students appeared for the exam this year. The exams were held from February 10 to February 12, 2020. The state board said that it will release digital marksheets for class 10th students.

The appeared students can check their scores on the board’s official website sebaonline.org. Alternatively, the students can also access their result via mobile app — SEBA Results 2020 — which is available on Google Play Store.
