The National Testing Agency is likely to announce the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 results today. Every year, lakhs of students appear for the exam. And, NEET selects some of the most talented students for courses in medical sciences. It is among the most demanding competitive exams in India.
Based on their merit and ranks, students who clear the exam go through counselling and are later admitted to best
medical colleges. These include AIIMS (New Delhi), PGI Chandigarh, Christian Medical College, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Banaras Hindu University.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), most of the best medical colleges are located in Delhi.
