Ghajini — The famous movie based on the English movie Memento was released in December 2008. The movie was a big hit in the Indian and overseas market, grossing Rs 200 crore worldwide and becoming the first Indian movie to do so. However, the poster of the movie was criticised for being copied from The Incredible Hulk, which was released earlier that year.

Talaash: The Answer Lies Within

Talaash: The Answer Lies Within — The 2012 movie that met critical and commercial success was a gripping mystery in which Aamir portrayed the role of a Mumbai police officer. The movie grossed more than Rs 150 crore at the box office. However, one of the posters of the movie was inspired from 2011 movie Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, starring Tom Cruise.

Dhoom 3

Dhoom 3 — The film was released in 2013 and was highly anticipated because Aamir Khan had portrayed a negative role in the movie. The movie broke all the records as it became the first Indian film to earn Rs 500 crore at the BO. The poster of the movie was highly applauded for Aamir’s toned muscles and hat however, experts noticed that it bore an uncanny resemblance to the 2008 superhero film The Dark Knight.

The movie has not been released yet, but is literally making heads turn. In the first look of the film, we saw Aamir strategically holding a stereo to uphold his modesty while being completely naked. The poster attracted a lot of acclaim and criticism, but back in 1973, a Portuguese musician, by the name of Quim Barreiros, had done a similar pose for his album cover.
