  • "Bridgerton" season two was watched for 251 million hours during its first full week on Netflix.
  • It was the second-biggest single week for a Netflix series ever, behind the hit "Squid Game."

"Bridgerton" continued to dominate Netflix last week.

The second season, which debuted on March 25, was watched for 251 million hours globally during its first full week on the service from March 28 through April 3.

It was the biggest single week of viewing for a season of a Netflix English-language series. And it's the second-biggest overall, behind the Korean-language hit "Squid Game," which was watched for 571 million hours in a seven-day period.

Every Tuesday, Netflix updates its list of top 10 TV shows and movies of the previous week, based on the number of hours watched globally.

The premiere of "Bridgerton" season two lifted the first season's viewership, too. It was watched for 53 million hours last week. Combined, the two seasons of "Bridgerton" were watched for 304 million hours last week.

"Bridgerton" season two was also the biggest three-day premiere for a Netflix English-language series, and second overall behind the Spanish series "Money Heist's" season-five debut.
