• The Nintendo Switch is the portable, local multiplayer-focused Nintendo game console that also plugs into the TV for straight-up HD gaming.
• The Switch itself hasn't been discounted much this year, but this $299.99 Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle gets one of its most popular games for free at Adorama.
• For those that prefer extreme portability at the expense of TV play and local multiplayer, the brand-new Nintendo Switch Lite is slightly discounted at B&H Photo.
• Best Buy has a particularly strong Nintendo Switch bundle deal on the updated HAC-001 (-01) model with stronger battery life, including Mario + Rabbids and Starlink: Battle for Atlas for free.
• To hopefully save even more through Cyber Monday sales, head to Business Insider Coupons for the most recent Walmart coupons and promo codes.

Ahead of the actual day, the top Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals are at Gamestop, Adorama, and Best Buy. The deal on offer at Best Buy covers the very latest Switch model numbered HAC-001 (-01) with better battery life, while the offer at Adorama covers the original Nintendo Switch model, which released in 2017 (model number HAC-001).

This latter model has no other tangible differences from the newer model other than slightly worse battery life out of the box.

The other top Nintendo Switch deal right now actually covers the Switch Lite console, shaving a scant few bucks off the list price at B&H Photo - and only on the yellow color option at the time of writing. It's safe to say that truly strong deals on Nintendo's ultra-portable Switch will be tough to find over the next 24 hours.

Will the newest Nintendo Switch go on sale for Cyber Monday?

It's well known that Nintendo put out a new model of its Switch console in August 2019, but most deals for the Switch are and have been for the original model (i.e. the model released in 2017). This is almost certainly due to excess stock of the original model. The only real difference between the two is that the newer 2019 model has slightly improved battery life over the original console.

For those specifically seeking the 2019 model, keep an eye out for model number HAC-001(-01). Also, look out for an updated serial number, which will start with "XKW."

We've seen a single bundle offer featuring the new Nintendo Switch model, at Best Buy, but that's technically not a sale. We wouldn't expect to see any true sales for the newer Switch console much less the original model.

What Nintendo Switch games will be on sale for Cyber Monday?

As you can see above, several Super Mario games, as well as The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Octopath Traveler, and more are on sale for $20 off or more at several retailers. It's doubtful that you'll see many more steeper discounts than this when Cyber Monday kicks off in earnest.

In fact, both GameStop and Walmart are offering sizable deals on dozens of Nintendo Switch games both mainstream and indie.

Will the Nintendo Switch price drop in 2019?

Judging from what we've seen since last year, probably not until a new model is released with even better battery life, but rumors are abound of a Switch 2 or Switch Pro to be released in 2020.
