Queen Bey is back.

Beyoncé released a surprise song online late Friday night called "Black Parade."

"Happy Juneteenth Weekend! I hope we continue to share joy and celebrate each other, even in the midst of struggle," the singer wrote in an Instagram post along with the single announcement. "Please continue to remember our beauty, strength and power."

Juneteenth commemorates the date in 1865 when enslaved people in Texas learned they were emancipated. President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation, which declared "all persons held as slaves" free, was signed over two years prior. Many Southern states failed to enforce the act until after the Civil War ended.

Beyonce dropped the new single shortly after launching an initiative called Black Parade to bring awareness to Black-owned small businesses.

The businesses range from art and design to beauty, fashion, restaurants, lifestyle, and more.

"Black Parade" is Beyoncé's first new solo music since her work on 2019's "The Lion King" album, "The Gift." She also recently appeared on a remix of "Savage" with Megan Thee Stallion in April.
