The queen of fashion, grace, and timeless beauty, Princess Diana sported a demure look in a Ritu Kumar-designed blue salwar kameez when she visited Lahore. As per the designer, Diana was a patron at her London store.

Parker’s iconic character Carrie Bradshaw wore a Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga on And Just Like That - the sequel to Sex And The City series. With motifs inspired by Udaipur’s grand palaces, the maroon and cobalt blue outfit went viral the second Parker’s photos surfaced online.

When former US First Lady Michelle Obama visited India with her husband and former US President Barack Obama, she wore a printed dress by designer Bibhu Mohapatra. She also wore an outfit from his collection during an appearance on 'Tonight Show with Jay Leno' in 2012.

Writer, barrister, and wife of former UK PM Tony Blair, Cherie Blair has often donned Indian ethnic wear or outfits by Indian designers. Blair wore outfits designed by Indian-origin London-based designer Bubs Mahil when she visited India in 2002. Designer Surekha Jain also created a black embroidered jacket with a bandhgala for Blair.
