The collections of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer War crossed ₹250 crore in 11 days of its release, says film critic Taran Adarsh. It became the second highest grosser of 2019, a title previously held by Aditya Dhar’s ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike



The film earned between ₹10-11 crore on its second Saturday. It is projected to earn ₹15 crore more on its second Saturday. It The film is still running at 3,000 screens in the country. The movie was initially released across 4200 screens had and collected 53.3 crore on its opening day.

War is an action thriller where an Indian soldier Khalid (Tiger Shroff) is assigned to kill his mentor Kabir (Hrithik Roshan)--a spy gone rogue.

Experts believe that War is going to beat Kabir Singh and become the top grossing film of 2019, next weekend. Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani earned ₹277 crore at the box office. But Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 which will release during Diwali, might spoil War’s party.

The international collections of War are also high. According to Business Standard, until Saturday, the film grossed $2.7 million in USA-Canada, $3.4 million in UAE-GCC, $600,000 in UK and $2.29 million in other international markets. The total overseas collection of the film on 12 October, 2019 stood $9 million.

It is Hrithik Roshan’s highest grosser in North America (USA and Canada together), according to experts. The movie, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, opened countrywide on October 2.
