Idris Elba also joined the list of celebrities who tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The British actor assured his fans that “he is ok” and went into isolation. He also appealed and asked people to stay home to be “pragmatic”.

“There are people with greater risk that this virus may be devastating…I urge you to be extremely careful, wash hands, stay within 1.5 meters away from the other… just make everything possible to stop the spread of the virus,” said Hivju.
Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and Bond girl test positive
Two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were also diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 12. The Hollywood couple was at The Gold Coast, Australia for the production of Baz Luhrmann’s untitled film on Elvis Presley.
Hanks and Wilson have been discharged from the hospital and are under quarantine at a rented home in Australia, reported People Magazine. Olga Kurylenko, the Bond girl who was seen in Quantum of Solace in 2008 was quarantined in her house after she tested positive for coronavirus.
Elba’s announcement came a day after production houses across the world suspended shooting fearing community spread.
Major Hollywood releases like “Mulan”, “No Time to Die” were delayed.
Warner Bros on March 16 announced that they have stopped the production of the fourth part of Matrix featuring Keanu Reeves and the third part of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
