Julia Fox gave fans a tour of her refreshingly ordinary New York City apartment on TikTok and explained why she actually doesn't mind having a minor mouse problem.

The video, posted by the 32-year-old actress on Wednesday, has already garnered over six million views and nearly a million likes. It's also stirring up a ton of reactions on social media. Fans, who usually know her to be an eccentric person, are shocked by how "normal" her home is — at least against NYC standards.

She begins the tour by showing her bedroom, which she explains is actually just a bed in her living room, since she converted her bedroom into a playspace for her two-year-old son, Valentino. She pans the camera to what she calls a "nostalgia mirror," which has pictures of her son, and friends who passed away.

"This is my little grow station, where nothing is growing because we don't know what we're doing," she says while pointing the camera at two sad pots of dirt with no signs of life.

Next, she walks down her hallway and shows off her kitchen, asking viewers not to judge her because it's cluttered and disorganized. There's a stack of shoe boxes piled up on one side that she claims is a staple of NYC living.

Fox said she put the most effort into Valentino's room, which has a loft bed, although he doesn't spend any time in there.

"He sleeps in bed with me, yeah, we're co-sleepers, sue me, I don't care," she says.

Perhaps predicting that viewers will be surprised by the model and actress' relatively small and stripped-down apartment, Fox says she doesn't like "excessive displays of wealth" and says big houses are "really wasteful when there's so many homeless people in this country."

She ends the tour by saying she has a mouse problem, although she's completely unbothered by it.

"I kind of let them rock," Fox said. "I appreciate that they, at night while we're sleeping, come out and clean up the crumbs that my son drops on the floor. I'm not gonna evict the mice any time soon."

The comments are filled with fans in disbelief that her apartment wasn't as luxurious or ornate as they expected. They also praised her for how she designed her house to suit her son's needs first.

"She lives like a normal person??" one Twitter user reacted. "Not my apartment being bigger than hers," someone else joked.

"So nice to see that your place is not a curated museum-like flat, but a really cozy place where you actually live and enjoy," a TikTok user added.
