- Snoop Dogg recently told Insider he'd never set up Martha Stewart because she's "picky."
- Stewart said her famous friends "haven't done a good job" at matchmaking.
When Insider asked Snoop Dogg if he'd ever try to set up Martha Stewart, his response was an instant "hell nah" — and it seems he's not the only one avoiding the task.
Snoop Dogg said Stewart is "picky," but she told Insider in a recent interview about her partnership with Pure Leaf that the fault lies in her famous friends' matchmaking abilities.
"Well they haven't done a good job, I must tell you," she said. "I'm disappointed in every one of my friends!"
As a multi-millionaire, it's no surprise that Stewart has high standards when it comes to men. She previously told E! that her ideal date involves "helicoptering and yachting."
Snoop Dogg told Insider he wouldn't dream of trying to set up his BFF "unless I met a fucking trillionaire."
"I don't want that on my record that I brought somebody that she can't stand," he added. "No way."
Stewart has dated celebrities in the past, including Sir Anthony Hopkins. But she said during a January 2022 interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she dumped the Oscar-winning actor because she was too scared by his performance as Hannibal Lecter in "The Silence of the Lambs."
Fans started to hope that Pete Davidson would become Stewart's next famous beau after she said in an interview on "The Drew Barrymore Show" that he's "sort of cute." Stewart told Barrymore there was no chance of a romance with the 29-year-old comedian — even calling him a "lost son" — but she revealed to Insider that she's excited to host him for dinner soon.
"Pete has not come over for a meal yet, but I think he's getting a house in my neighborhood, so he'll probably become part of the repertoire," she added.
Stewart recently made history as the oldest woman to grace the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and Snoop Dogg told us she was "thirst-trapping" in her photo shoot.
"I had to call her and say, 'Martha, what's gotten into you? Or who's gotten into you?" he recalled.
Stewart, who turned 82 in August, told Insider that she focused on Pilates while preparing for the shoot and cut out alcohol for months.
She said she's since become a big fan of iced tea, which is why she recently teamed up with Pure Leaf for its "Don't Do It Yourself" campaign.
"Pour it over ice, add a wedge of lemon or orange, some mint from the herb garden, and you have a very nice tea," she said. "Not too bitter, not too strong — just perfect."
