Not just the Golden Globe, RRR has won over 30 international awards within a year of its release
Including a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’, RRR has won 33 international titles from film organizations like Saturn Awards, Hollywood Critics Association, and New York Film Critics Circle. The movie also secured over 100 international nominations, and even made it to the Oscars shortlist this year, for best song.

“You have honoured my whole cast and crew and have made a lot of people take notice of a small film from the South of India,” Rajamouli had said after winning the best director award at New York Film Critics Circle.

Best foreign film at Alliance of Women Film Journalists
RRR, along with the Korean language film ‘Decision to Leave’ won a ‘tied award’ for best foreign film awarded by Alliance of Women Film Journalists.

Critics Association of Central Florida Awards
RRR won ‘Best International Film’ at the Critics Association of Central Florida Awards in January.

Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards
Composer M M Keeravani won the award for best original song at Los Angeles Film Critics Association on December 12. In addition to ‘Naatu Naatu’, the composer created seven original title tracks for the period drama.

Best International Feature at Sunset Circle Awards 2022
RRR also bagged the best international feature at Sunset Circle Awards in November 2022. It beat films ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, ‘Athena’, ‘Decision to Leave’ and ‘Holy Spider’ in the process.

Spotlight Award at Hollywood Critics Association
RRR added another international title to its kitty when it won the Spotlight Award at Hollywood Critics Association. The RRR team will receive the award on February 24, 2023, in Los Angeles.

Best International Picture at the 2022 Atlanta Film Critics Circle Awards
RRR was also awarded the best international picture at Atlanta Film Critics Circle Awards. As per reports, fans wanted RRR to be released again in India after hearing this announcement.

In October 2022, RRR also won the best international film at Saturn Awards. It was also nominated for best action film and best director. Bahubali 2, also directed by Rajamouli, was the first Indian movie to receive a Saturn Award.
