The most daring looks celebrities wore to the 2024 Golden Globes
- The 81st annual Golden Globes were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday.
- Many stars weren't afraid to have fun with daring looks on the red carpet.
The Golden Globes might be a classic awards show, but that doesn't mean stars won't pull out their boldest looks.
At the 81st annual event on Sunday, celebrities walked the red carpet in standout suits, see-through dresses, and daring ensembles.
Here are some of the most daring looks seen throughout the night.
Julia Garner sparkled in a silver gown with a barely-there bodice.
Her sleeveless Gucci gown had all-over sequins, two straps that covered her chest and acted as a top, and a straight, floor-length skirt.
She wore it with only small gold earrings and a matching bangle.
Selena Gomez wore a shining dress that was vibrant and unique in shape.
Her metallic red gown had chest cutouts decorated with black floral appliqués and an asymmetrical skirt that was knee-length on one side and nearly reached the floor on the other.
She wore the design, which was custom-made by Armani Privé, with diamond jewelry and an updo hairstyle.
Natasha Lyonne's gown was otherworldly.
Designed by Schiaparelli, the strapless gown had a bodice with sharp points that extended past Lyonne's shoulders.
It was crafted from a tan, textured fabric in short tiers.
Dua Lipa wore a black dress covered in gold embellishments meant to look like bones.
The strapless Schiaparelli design had a velvet form-fitting bodice and a wide, matte skirt that blossomed above the knees.
It was also decorated with bone-shaped pieces made from gold and diamonds that mirrored the shape of the human skeleton.
She paired the gown with a gold-toned diamond necklace.
Hannah Waddingham opted for all-over lace.
Her gown had a corseted bodice with long sleeves and a high neckline, while its mermaid-style skirt hugged her hips and expanded at the knees.
Barry Keoghan stood out from other stars on the carpet in a red getup.
His custom Louis Vuitton outfit included a white button-up top underneath a red checkered jacket, matching trousers, and pearl accessories.
Stylist Ilaria Urbinati described the look to British Vogue as being "'Saltburn' meets punk rock."
He also wore a diamond pin, a pearl necklace, and a ruby earring.
Jordana Brewster's two-piece ensemble included a daring top.
She wore a black, high-waisted skirt with a textured design and a wide-cut, cutout crop top that revealed the sides of her chest.
Alberta Ferretti designed the look.
Pom Klementieff's gown featured a hip-high slit.
Her black-and-white dress had the aesthetic of a suit, with a button-up bodice, sharp collar, and buttons at the wrist.
But its pleated skirt, thigh-high stockings, and see-through top gave the Dolce & Gabbana outfit a bold edge.
Rosamund Pike took texture to another level.
Her strapless Dior dress had a corset bodice and full skirt, both of which were covered in the same appliqués that decorated its netted sleeves and neckpiece.
Pike completed the outfit with a black headpiece that featured a netted veil.
