Shilpa Shetty’s Mamaearth investment to bring home as much as ₹45 crore

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is all set to make as much as ₹45 crore as she is selling 1.39 million of her shares as a part of Honasa Consumer’s initial public offer. That’s if all the shares are subscribed at the upper end of the price band at ₹324.

When did she invest?
Shetty who is an actress, yoga video maker has invested in the brand Mamaearth and the company in 2018. As per the IPO filing, she bought in at ₹41 per share.

Like her peers Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, Shetty too regularly invests in startups. She also invested in D2C food brand WickedGud, agritech startup Kisankonnect and also launched her own fitness app, Simple Soulful.

Shetty was a popular Bollywood actress in the mid-90s, she had also branched out to follow her passions. She made a popular Yoga DVD in 2015, and also became famous for her stint at UK’s Big Boss that made her an international star.

Raj Kundra is currently fighting a criminal case in courts. Mumbai Cyber Crime Cell filed a chargesheet against him for producing and streaming pornographic content last November.
