Banks across the country observe certain holidays, but they are not uniform across the country. The major holiday for banks in the month of July is Bakri Id, also called Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha on July 31.

However, some states will be celebrating regional holidays. For instance, Haryana and Punjab — on the event of Haryali Teej — will have an off July 23. Jammu and Kashmir, on the other hand, will have to extra holidays on July 5 and July 13 for Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday and Martyr’s Day, respectively.
