Flipkart supports net neutrality; stays mum about Free Basics

Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart that has so far maintained its silence on the ongoing debate over India’s take on net neutrality. However, it has now openly come in support for the idea, saying that all content on the internet should be treated equally. It however has chosen to steer away from commenting about "Absence of net neutrality will affect web innovations and create digital inequality in India," said a statement from Flipkart. "We believe that the spirit of net neutrality should apply equally to all companies in India."
