It has been in the works since couple of years now. Every time we went to Mumbai, we were welcomed in a tiny terminal where most flights were managed. Now the new International terminal is ready, which will accommodate planes of all shapes and sizes. T2-Where Dream Take Flight is the video released that takes you around the new swanky build. Amitabh Bachchan is the narrator in this video and he talks about the challenges that the maker GVK had before them.
Mumbai has less space to grow as it has sea on one side. The city grew vertically and a similar vertical method has been used for this world-class structure as well. The interiors are truly amazing and inspired from things such asIndia ’s national bird’s (Peacock) feather and rich Indian culture. The sitting lobby is unlike any other and one can’t stop ogling over the suave lamp shades the colour gold.
GVK has outdone themselves and have made history by making an international terminal in a city where land is not just a premium to own, but criminal to get.
