The November jobs report is set to be released at 8:30 a.m. ET.

This reading on the US labor market is likely to be the first in two months that won't reflect the impact of the deadly hurricanes that slammed into the southeastern US this fall.

Economists forecast that nonfarm payrolls increased by 195,000 on net, while the unemployment rate remained at a 17-year low of 4.1%, according to Bloomberg.

The hurricanes weakened the pace of job creation to just 18,000 nonfarm payrolls in September, followed by an outsized rebound in October as people returned to work. And so, the past two months have not provided a clear reading on how the job market is doing.

Industries that weren't directly impacted by hurricanes, mostly outside of hospitality and construction, maintained strong job growth as several people were forced to stay away from work. That's an indication that the job market remained robust, and was creating enough jobs to absorb new entrants into the labor force.
