While it may sound like the characters are saying "boca," they're actually saying "bokeh" - the term used by photographers for that blurry-background effect you get when you take a portrait mode photo. (The misspelling is so popular that Google Trends recently highlighted "boca" as an iPhone-related breakout trending search of the last 30 days.)

Indeed, the iPhone XS and XR both have adjustable bokeh, which Apple calls "Depth Control," where you can adjust the blurriness of the background against the subject in focus even after you've taken the photo.
