If you want to buy a movie on YouTube-because let's be honest, sometimes 48 hours isn't enough time to watch "Bridesmaids" on repeat three dozen times-doing so is a simple and straightforward process.
Once purchased, your movies will be stored in your YouTube Library and you can watch them at any time. Here's how to get started.
How to buy movies on YouTube on a web browser
1. Go to https://www.youtube.com and log into your account using your user name and password.
2. On your home screen, use the menu bar on the left-hand side of your screen and scroll down until you find the Movies & Shows option and click. Note that you can also access this page directly by pointing your browser to https://www.youtube.com/movies.

Go to the Movies & Shows page on YouTube.
3. Use the search bar at the top of your screen to type in the name of the movie you want to buy.
4. From the list of search results, select the full-length movie to see purchasing options. You will know you're looking at the official version of the film as a small box will appear to the right of that result telling you the lowest available prices.

5. Click on the movie title to launch a pop-up showing the available rental and purchasing options. Note that many movies are available to rent or buy in HD for a small price increase.
6. Choose to buy the movie and you will be taken to the payment screen. Enter your payment information and click "Pay now" to complete your purchase.

Note that all of your purchases can be accessed at any time by clicking the Purchases tab in the menu bar located on the left-hand side of your screen.
How to buy movies on Youtube on the mobile app
1. Locate the YouTube icon on your phone's home screen and tap to open. Ensure you're logged into your YouTube account before proceeding.
2. Using the search button, which is shaped like a small magnifying glass, in the menu along the top of your screen, type in the name of the movie you wish to buy.
3. From the search results, select the movie to reveal a list of rental and purchasing options. Click on either the SD or HD option (where available) under "Buy movie" to be taken to the payment screen.

4. You can now complete your payment via the App Store by using Touch ID or entering your Apple ID username and password. Your purchase will then be completed.

Note that you can find your purchases on the YouTube app by tapping Library on the bottom of your screen and then going to the Purchases tab.
