Expanded as Media Access Control Address, MAC address consists of a sequence of values written in pairs. All these pairs are separated by some characters, hyphens or colons. Every device linked to the home network has a unique MAC address. If your computer has many network adapters like a wireless adapter and an Ethernet adapter, each of the adapters will have its own MAC address. Knowing the MAC address will enable you to block or allow service to a given device. Here is how you can find out the MAC address.
