Hyundai's Elite i20 achieves 100,000 sales mark in India

Automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor India has said that its premium hatchback ‘Elite i20 ’ reached a cumulative sales mark of 100,000 units in India.
"We are overwhelmed with the customers response by receiving over 100,000 sales for the Elite i20 in 11 months," IANS reported, quoting B.S. Seo, managing director and chief executive,Hyundai Motor India.
TheSouth Korean company had launched the second generation of i20 on August 11, 2014 in India.
The company described the frugal diesel and petrol engines in the Elite i20 as a mark of engineering excellence, which also incorporate new technologies.
The "1.2 Dual VTVT Kappa " petrol engine offers a mileage of 18.60 km per litre, whereas, the "1.4 CRDi" diesel engine provides a 22.54 km per litre mileage.
