The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for rains in Delhi. The MCD announced that all schools run by the body will be closed on Tuesday considering the adverse weather conditions.

Water only for drinking

This decision has been taken as the water storage in the Jayakwadi Dam in Paithan has reached 26.93 percent. The remaining water will be used for drinking water supply.
