  • According to the latest data from the government, Haryana currently has 323 active cases, while 627 have been cured and 14 have passed away.
  • Gurugram has 220 coronavirus cases out of which 106 are active cases. Faridabad has 163 cases, with 71 active cases.
  • But with Lockdown 4.0, the government has relaxed several norms.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on May 19 announced new guidelines for the state. He said that, “restrictions in containment zones will continue, while the remaining areas will be considered as orange zones”.

According to the latest data from the government, Haryana currently has 323 active cases, while 627 have been cured and 14 have passed away.

Gurugram has 220 coronavirus cases out of which 106 are active cases. Faridabad has 163 cases, with 71 active cases.

But with Lockdown 4.0, the government has relaxed several norms. An officer said that for the 8 districts of Faridabad, Gurugram, Sonipat, Panipat, Nuh, Palwal, Jhajjar and Panchkula, permissions would be granted on the basis of Development Block/Town or Zone (in case of MC) level assessment.

What’s allowed

  1. All markets, shops will remain open.
  2. Cabs and auto rickshaws can now ply on the roads but with only two passengers.
  3. Construction is now allowed.
  4. All industrial and economic activities outside of containment zones will be allowed with 100% employees. Businesses have to apply for a pass at Saral Haryana portal.
  5. E-commerce companies can now operate in all areas.
  6. Haryana Roadways buses will resume operations but people can buy tickets online only.
  7. People entering from Delhi will be allowed to enter with a pass only if they have tested negative for Covid19
  8. All inter-state and intra-statement movement of cargo buses and trucks is now allowed.
What’s not allowed


  • Schools, colleges to remain shut.
  • Shopping malls cannot stay open
  • Containment zones will still see restrictions.
