Karnataka government issues travel guidelines for international national and local arrivals — making 7 days of institutional quarantine compulsory

The Karnataka government has issued guidelines for all the international, national and local travellers arriving from the different parts of the country. Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri allowed domestic flights to operate in the country from May 25.

This comes as Karnataka reports seventy-five new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of infections in the state to 2,493.

With 47 deaths and 809 discharges, there are 1,635 active corona cases in the state, the department said in its mid-day bulletin. Twenty-eight patients have been discharged so far on May 28.
