The dress from the couture house – Atelier Caito from Herve Pierre, also featured a green belt. The belt is made from an ancient textile which is green silk intertwined with a gold metallic thread.

The design house said on Instagram that they sourced it in Paris from their collector friends. “We used the border which was the most Interesting piece,” they wrote.

Atelier Caito from Herve Pierre is run by designers Nicolas Caito and Hervé Pierre, who have earlier also designed for the First Lady. She wore the dress for her first appearance in India while she attended the Namaste Trump event at Motera in Gujarat.
