One death, 71 fresh cases of COVID-19 reported in Telangana

Hyderabad, May 26 ():Seventyone fresh cases of COVID-19and one death due to the infection were reported in Telangana on Tuesday, the state government said.

With one person succumbing, the number of virus- related deaths tilldate rose to 57, it said in a bulletin.

As many as 120 people were discharged on Tuesday and the number of cured/discharged till date stood at 1,284.

The number of people under treatment as on date was 650, it said.

Out of the 71 positive cases, 55 belong to Telangana, the bulletin said.

While the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for 38 cases, 17 cases were reported from different districts.

Four foreign evacuees and 12 migrants, who arrived in the state in recentdays, were also found positive for the virus, the bulletin added. SJR NVG NVG
