The Indian Farmers Union (IFU) was seen leading its protest along the Delhi-Noida border.
Protestors set up a ‘chakka jaam’ — a blockade consisting of tractors to keep traffic from passing through.

Farmers were also seen protesting the Agricultural Bills 2020 on the other side of the border in Uttar Pradesh. They staged a sit-in to block traffic for a few hours on the Ayodhya-Lucknow highway.
Protests were also brewing in Haryana — Delhi's other neighbor.

Another chakka jaam was spotted on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana highway in Punjab.
Farmers were seen shouting slogans as they blocked off traffic during the protest.

Gurudwara workers came in to distribute food to the farmers amid the protest.
Amritsar, another city in Punjab, also saw farmers come to the streets in large numbers.

The northernmost protest was held in Srinagar by the Jammu and Kashmir Kisan Tehrek (JKKT).
In Patna, Pappu Yadav of the Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) was seen driving a tractor with farmers protesting the new agricultural bills.

Further south, in the city of Bengaluru, farmers from Karnataka were protesting at Mysore Bank Circle on KG Road.
Many were detained by the local police.

Farmers were also spotted blocking national highways in Mysuru city. The cops stepped in to take the farmers into ‘preventive custody’.
